My Department also administers a once-off grant scheme to core-funded projects to assist in funding activities not associated with day to day running costs, for example, equipment, research, etc. A number of applications have been received from the aforementioned Kerry based projects this year. Decisions in relations to these applications will be made shortly.
A list of the 15 areas approved for new community development projects in 2003 follows. A further list of areas at pre-development stage is also included.
