Vol. 572 No. 3

Written Answers. - Departmental Staff.

533.
Ms M. Wallace asked the Minister for Social and Family Affairs if progress has been made following her reply of 27 May 2003 to Parliamentary Question No. 445 regarding a person (details supplied) in County Meath; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [22979/03]
Minister for Social and Family Affairs (Mary Coughlan): As outlined in my previous reply, Navan local office and its staff are to be re-located to new premises in the town. It is now anticipated that the move will take place during November 2003.
The question as to whether or not a services officer is required for the new office is under consideration, and in the event that an appointment is required, the normal selection procedures will apply.
The application of the person concerned, for transfer, has been noted and will be considered in the event that a post is being filled.
