Question:124 Mr. Kehoe asked the Minister for Transport if his Department has discussed a policy for the future enlargement of Rosslare Port; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22108/03]

As the Deputy is aware, Rosslare Port is operated by Irish Rail under the umbrella of the Fishguard and Rosslare Harbours Company. Significant investment has been made in the port in recent years to upgrade the facilities to cater for increased activity there. At present a €6 million investment programme is under way which will be delivered over the coming years.
