Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Carlow, will receive an appointment date for surgery at Beaumont Hospital for a hernia operation and reversal for a colostomy operation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23549/03]
Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): The provision of services for people living in County Carlow is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to look into this matter and to reply directly to the Deputy.
