Adjournment Debate. - Roads Funding.

197 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the position regarding the funding which was sanctioned in May 2002 for a road (details supplied) in north Mayo; if this money was ever spent; and when this road will be repaired. [23721/03]

Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs (Éamon Ó Cuív):

I approved a grant to Mayo County Council in June of this year towards the repair of the road in question. I understand from Mayo County Council that they hope to have work on the road completed by the end of the year.
