301 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Mayo is being penalised simply due to the fact that their post did not arrive on time to notify them of a urology appointment on 19 September 2003; and if this person will be called for a urology appointment as urgently as possible. [24091/03]

The provision of hospital services for persons resident in County Mayo is a matter for the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position and to reply directly to the Deputy.

302 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be admitted to the Beaumont Hospital in Dublin for a one day keyhole surgery procedure. [24092/03]
