Vol. 572 No. 6

Written Answers. - Residency Permits.

John McGuinness

Question:

341 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the time it will take to deal with an appeal on behalf of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny to remain here; if that person's application will be expedited and permission granted; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23916/03]

I refer the Deputy to my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 1177 of Tuesday, 30 September 2003. To date, no response has been received from the person in question, and I expect the case file to be submitted to me for consideration in due course.
