Vol. 572 No. 6

Written Answers. - Residency Permits.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

361 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when residency status will be awarded in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare on foot of an application made over 13 months ago, in view of the fact that they and their spouse have no income currently; when this matter will be finalised; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24304/03]

The person in question made an application for permission to remain in the State based on marriage to an Irish national. All relevant information pertaining to the case has only recently been received in my Department and it is anticipated that the application will be finalised shortly.
