Question:

168 Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform further to Parliamentary Question No. 474 of 7 October 2003, if he will report on the number of times the trespass provisions under the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2002 have been used in each Garda division since the law was enacted; and the number of convictions obtained and the number of trespass cases still pending in each Garda division. [24721/03]

I refer the Deputy to my answer to Question No. 474 of 7 October 2003. In addition, I have now received from the Garda authorities a breakdown of the figures on a Garda divisional basis. The following table below sets out in detail the information requested. The figures provided are in respect of the period since the commencement of the Act up to 3 October 2003.
