337 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Education and Science the amount which has been spent yearly on renting or leasing temporary classroom accommodation for a school (details supplied) in Dublin 11; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25108/03]

In 2001 my Department decided to grant-aid the purchase rather than rent or lease temporary accommodation at the school referred to by the Deputy.

In that context grant-aid of €987,170.47 was sanctioned for the purchase of 23 prefabs at the school.
