473 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when capital funding will be provided for the IWA project in Belmullet, County Mayo; when this funding was originally sought; and when it will be sanctioned, in view of the fact that the project has already secured planning permission. I understand that the proposal from the Irish Wheelchair Association to provide respite care units in Belmullet, County Mayo, is scheduled for development by the Western Health Board under its national development plan for 2004. As the Deputy was recently informed, my Department is reviewing the capital funding of each health board with a view to identifying what flexibility exists for new developments and this project will be examined in that context.
