Question:

173 Mr. Morgan asked the Taoiseach the percentage of persons in households with more than two persons per room; the percentage of persons housed in social housing with more than two persons per room; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25039/03]

According to the results of the 2002 census of population, 0.6% of persons lived in households with more than two persons per room. The corresponding figure for local authority rented dwellings and dwellings being purchased from a local authority was 2.2%.
