I have not yet made any decision as to the closing date for receipt of applications under the 2004 area aid scheme. However, I expect to be in a position to make such an announcement shortly.
I should draw the Deputy's attention to the fact that in line with normal practice, pre-printed area aid application forms and helpsheets will issue from my Department in good time to applicants who previously applied under the area aid scheme. Details of the closing date for receipt of area aid applications under the 2004 scheme will be advertised.
