28 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Finance the progress made to date by the Revenue powers group; if the report of the group was received by the 31 October 2003 deadline; when it is expected that the report will be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25784/03]

I understand that the Revenue powers group is at an advanced stage in preparing its report and I hope to receive it in a few weeks time. I will be considering the recommendations of the report when I receive it and will make the report publicly available in due course.
