Question:

211 Mr. F. McGrath asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason there are still patients on trolleys in the accident and emergency department of Beaumont Hospital; and the position in this regard on the ground in other hospitals. [27850/03]

Services at Beaumont Hospital and other hospitals in the eastern region are provided under an arrangement with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate this case and reply to the Deputy directly.
