Vol. 575 No. 1

Written Answers. - Residency Permits.

John McGuinness

Question:

205 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the status of a permit to stay here for a person (details supplied); the timeframe for the decision to be made; and if the matter will be expedited. [27918/03]

The person in question was granted permission to remain in the State on 10 August 2000 based on marriage to an Irish national. Recently my Department's immigration division was advised that there has been a change in circumstances and the matter is being reviewed. A decision will be made shortly.
