248 Mr. S. Power asked the Minister for Health and Children the developments that have taken place at Naas General Hospital; the future plans for the hospital; the total cost of the development; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28224/03]

Responsibility for the provision of services at Naas General Hospital rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department, therefore, has asked the regional chief executive of the authority to examine this issue and to reply to the Deputy directly.
