162 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Health and Children when funding will be made available for the proposed development for the Erris branch of the Irish Wheelchair Association in Belmullet, County Mayo; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29393/03]
I understand the proposal from the Irish Wheelchair Association to provide respite care units in Belmullet, County Mayo, is scheduled for development by the Western Health Board under its national development plan for 2004. My Department is reviewing the capital funding of each health board with a view to identifying what flexibility exists for new developments, and this project will be examined in that context.
