343 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) can be transferred from Waterford Regional Hospital to Kilcreene Hospital, Kilkenny, to recover following a hip operation in order to be close to their family; and if the treatment and transfer will be expedited. The provision of services at Waterford Regional Hospital is a matter for the SEHB. My Department has asked its chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
