Vol. 576 No. 6

Written Answers. - Garda Stations.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

67 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Finance if he will prioritise the purchase of a site for the new Garda station in Castleisland, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29988/03]

The Commissioners of Public Works are currently negotiating for a site for a new Garda station in Castleisland on behalf of the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform. Finalisation of any acquisition depends upon the relative priority accorded to Castleisland by the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform and the availability of the necessary funding in the Office of Public Works Vote.
