Written Answers. - Departmental Funding.

Dinny McGinley

Question:

295 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government if funding will be made available to Donegal County Council to finance its essential repair grants programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31676/03]

Donegal County Council received a capital allocation of €3.902 million for the payment of disabled persons and essential repairs grants in June. An additional allocation was made to it on 14 November to bring its total allocation for 2003 to €4.702 million. Details of the capital funding being provided for the payment of the disabled persons and essential repairs grants in 2004 will be made available in the Revised Estimates for Public Services 2004. It will be published early in 2004.
