Vol. 577 No. 5

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Aengus Ó Snodaigh

Question:

144 Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Carlow has been waiting nearly two years for an operation in Tallaght Hospital; if the person is suitable for the treatment purchase scheme; and when they can expect to receive treatment for their condition. [31771/03]

The provision of services for people living in County Carlow is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked its chief executive officer to examine the matters raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
