165 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Transport the total number of requests for information under the Freedom of Information Acts received by his Department in 2003; the number of requests received per month for 2003; the number of requests received per month for 2002; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The number of requests received by my Department from 1 January to date is detailed in the following tabular statement, together with the number of requests received from 1 January to 31 December 2002. The information is broken down into the number of requests received for each month for both years. My Department was established in June 2002 and, therefore, 73 of the requests received in 2002 were submitted to the former Department of Public Enterprise.
