Treaty of Amsterdam: Motions.

I move:

That Dáil Éireann approves the exercise by the State of the option, provided by Article 4 of the fourth Protocol set out in the Treaty of Amsterdam, to notify the Council and the Commission that it wishes to accept the following measure:

Council Regulation (EC) No. 333/2002 of 18th February, 2002, on a uniform format for forms for affixing the visa issued by Member States to persons holding travel documents not recognised by the Member State drawing up the form,

a copy of which measure was laid before Dáil Éireann on 11th November, 2003.

Deputies Sargent, Boyle, Eamon Ryan, Joe Higgins, Ó Caoláin, Ó Snodaigh, Crowe, Morgan and Ferris rose.

As fewer than ten Members have risen I declare the question carried. In accordance with Standing Order 68 the names of the Deputies dissenting will be recorded in the Journal of the Proceedings of the Dáil.

Council Regulation (EC) No. 334/2002 of 18th February, 2002, amending Regulation (EC) No. 1683/95 laying down a uniform format for visas,

a copy of which measure was laid before Dáil Éireann on 11th November, 2003.

I move:

That Dáil Éireann approves the exercise by the State of the option, provided by Article 3 of the fourth Protocol set out in the Treaty of Amsterdam, to notify the President of the Council that it wishes to take part in the adoption and application of the following measure:

A proposal for a Council Regulation amending Regulation (EC) 1683/95 laying down a uniform format for visas,

a copy of which measure was laid before Dáil Éireann on 11th November, 2003.

I move:

That Dáil Éireann approves the exercise by the State of the option, provided by Article 3 of the fourth Protocol set out in the Treaty of Amsterdam, to notify the President of the Council that it wishes to take part in the adoption and application of the following proposed measure:

a proposal for a Council Regulation amending Regulation (EC) 1030/2002 laying down a uniform format for residence permits for third-country nationals,

a copy of which measure was laid before Dáil Éireann on 11th November 2003.

I move:

That Dáil Éireann approves the exercise by the State of the option, provided by Article 4 of the fourth Protocol set out in the Treaty of Amsterdam, to notify the Council and the Commission that it wishes to accept the following measure:

Council Regulation (EC) No. 1030/2002 of 13th June, 2002, laying down a uniform format for residence permits for third-country nationals,

a copy of which measure was laid before Dáil Éireann on 11th November, 2003.
