Vol. 628 No. 5

Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Gormley — the need for the Government to revise its plans to locate the new children's hospital on the Mater Hospital site in light of the report from Crumlin Hospital for Sick Children; (2) Deputy Olivia Mitchell — the changes in plan regarding the red and green Luas lines in south Dublin; (3) Deputy Pat Breen — the need for the Health Service Executive to provide additional funding to the Stella Maris day care centre, Lisdoonvarna, County Clare; (4) Deputy Gilmore — the need to extend the equal opportunities childcare programme, EOCP, capital grant for the Mounttown-Fitzgerald Park community development project; and (5) Deputy Broughan — the urgent need for Dublin City Council to give adequate notice for water and drainage works in view of the late notice of a forthcoming weekend cut-off of water in Dublin North-East and Dublin North-Central and a similar recent event that caused traffic chaos.

The matters raised by Deputies Pat Breen, Gilmore and Olivia Mitchell have been selected for discussion.
