I move:
That Dáil Éireann approves the following regulations in draft:
Official Languages 2003 (Section 9) Regulations 2006,
copies of which regulations in draft were laid before Dáil Éireann on 28th September 2006.
Official Languages Act 2003: Motion.
The motion is opposed by the Labour Party on the grounds that regulation No. 1, instead of helping to promote the language, will have the opposite effect.
