Vol. 663 No. 3

Allocation of Time: Motion.

I move:

That, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders, the Financial Resolutions by the Minister for Finance shall, for the purpose of debate, be moved and grouped together in accordance with the following schedule; the proceedings thereon and any amendments thereto shall, in the case of each resolution, be brought to a conclusion by one question which shall be put from the Chair, not later than the times indicated as follows:

Group 1: Financial Resolutions Nos, 1, 2 and 3. Time allocation: 60 minutes.

Group 2: Financial Resolutions Nos. 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Time allocation: 60 minutes.

Group 3: Financial Resolutions Nos. 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. Time allocation: 45 minutes.

Group 4: Financial Resolutions No. 14. Time allocation: 60 minutes.

Is that agreed?

I ask the Ceann Comhairle to clarify the format the debate will take. Will we just have speeches or will there will be questions and answers, as with Committee Stage?

The format will be the same as for Committee Stage in a debate.

Is it intended to vote on each financial resolution individually?

The resolutions will be discussed in groups but voted on individually. Is that correct?

That is correct, yes.

Question put and agreed to.
