Request to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 32
I wish to seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national and local importance, namely, the undue delay in the provision of funding under the European Solidarity Fund for the financial compensation of the people of the Shannon region and those throughout the country, whose properties were flooded and many destroyed in the severe flooding in November, December and January, particularly farmers whose livelihoods have been destroyed due to the financial hardship following the flooding.
Having considered the matter raised, it is not in order under Standing Order 32.
