Ábhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37 and the name of the Member in each case:

Deputy Frankie Feighan - To discuss the need to establish Sligo Garda station as a divisional headquarters for An Garda Síochána.

Deputy Michael Healy-Rae - To discuss the establishment of waste water treatment plants in villages and settlements where none currently exist.

Deputy Jackie Cahill - To discuss the future location of the Office of Inspector of Prisons in Nenagh, County Tipperary.

Deputy Danny Healy-Rae - To discuss the impact of Uisce Éireann taking over complete responsibility for provision of water services on local authority employees.

Deputy Pádraig Mac Lochlainn - To discuss the fishing and other activities of super-factory ships in Irish exclusive economic zone waters.

Deputy Jennifer Murnane O'Connor - To discuss the number of children requiring special educational needs supports in integrated settings in mainstream primary and post-primary schools in Carlow.

Deputy Seán Sherlock - To discuss the lack of additional needs education units and supports in north Cork.

Deputy Gary Gannon - To discuss the construction of a new school building for Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire, Parnell Square, Dublin 1.

Deputy Matt Carthy - To discuss the 2023 funding allocation for N2 road projects.

Deputy Eoin Ó Broin - To discuss the need to release funding for the new build at Holy Family Community School, Rathcoole, County Dublin.

Deputy Thomas Gould - To discuss the operation of Home for Life in the mortgage to rent scheme.

Deputy Catherine Connolly - To discuss the response to a court ruling that the Government policy directive introducing a ban on trawling inside the six nautical-mile limit is invalid and of no legal effect.

Deputy Maurice Quinlivan - To discuss the "Arrangements for Social Housing Acquisitions in 2023" circular recently issued to local councils regarding tenant in situ

Deputy David Stanton - To discuss the need to provide transport to disability services such as day services.

Deputy Christopher O'Sullivan - To discuss funding for Cancer Connect in Cork.

Deputy Chris Andrews - To discuss the need for the regeneration of inner-city flat complexes.

The matters raised by Deputies Frankie Feighan, Jackie Cahill, Michael Healy-Rae, Maurice Quinlivan, Catherine Connolly, Jennifer Murnane O'Connor, David Stanton have been selected for discussion.
