Vol. 1041 No. 1

Visit of US Delegation

Cuirim céad míle fáilte roimh an toscaireacht atá inár gcomhluadar ó na Stáit Aontaithe agus go háirithe ó Chumann Stairiúil an Tí Bháin agus iad i mbun ceiliúradh 60 bliain ón gcuairt a thug an iar-Uachtarán John F. Kennedy ar an tír seo ar 28 Meitheamh 1963.

Before proceeding with the business of the Dáil I would like to extend, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Members of the Dáil, a céad míle fáilte, a most sincere welcome, to the delegation from the White House Historical Association, which is visiting us today to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the visit of the former President of the United States John F. Kennedy, who addressed this House on 28 June 1963. They are accompanied by H.E. Ms Claire Cronin, the US ambassador to Ireland, Stephen Kennedy Smith, nephew to John F. Kennedy, his wife Cheryl and Mr. Stewart McLaurin, president of the White House Historical Association. They are all very welcome and I hope they enjoy their visit.
