Before the Vice Chairman finishes, may I, too, wish all the members a happy Christmas. I have found this committee to be really helpful in trying to solve some difficult problems in the build-up to the budget.
This is probably the only committee to have that type of engagement in terms of trying to find solutions to very difficult problems. Not everybody is happy with those solutions but I thank members, particularly members of the Opposition, for their input into that process. It was helpful to me and it influenced the decisions we made in a way that might not otherwise have been the case. I look forward to similar co-operation next year.
