Are there any other nominations? As there are no other nominations I declare Deputy Seán Barrett elected Chairman of the committee and I invite him to take the Chair.

I thank each and every one of you for selecting me as Chairman. It was kind of Deputy Cuffe to propose me. I hope that is a signal for the future on this committee, which I regard as non-political in so far as we have a job to do according to the terms of reference that have been set out. I hope we can continue working in the spirit of partnership and co-operation. I welcome all of you to the committee.
