Business of Joint Committee

No apologies have been received. At the request of the broadcasting and recording services, I ask members to ensure their mobile telephones are switched off completely and not just left in silent mode. A policy briefing on today's public business has been circulated to members. We will go into private session to deal with the minutes and certain other matters.

The committee went into private session at 1.09 p.m. and resumed in public session at 1.54 p.m.

I apologise for the delay but there were some matters we had to agree in private before going into public session. There are EU legislative proposals for scrutiny by the committee and it is proposed that the proposals listed in schedule B as distributed to members do not warrant further scrutiny. Is that agreed? Agreed.
