I welcome members of the joint committee. It is a terrible morning and I expect some members have been held up because of the snow. I want the committee's permission to ratify the minutes of the meeting of 15 February and leave correspondence to the end because there is a considerable amount to be gone through. Deputy Ned O'Keeffe has been nominated to the joint committee to replace Deputy Wilkinson who has been appointed convenor for the Joint Committee on Transport. I thank DeputyWilkinson for his meaningful contribution to this committee. He was probably one of its best attenders. I wish him well in his new position. I look forward to working with Deputy O'Keeffe and the contribution he will make to the committee in the next few years.
