There is an issue to deal with concerning Mr. Joe Fox to which I will refer. In correspondence dated 16 April 2008 Mr. Fox of Enterprise Ireland states that, concerning page 20 of the report of the delegation to the Tipperary, Cork and Waterford border region, the sentence "It is hard to compete with Brazilian produce in the US market" is not correct, that it should read "It is hard to compete with Brazilian beef on the world market". The clerk to the committee has informed Mr. Fox that the notes on the meeting at Cappoquinn accurately reflect what was said at the meeting and that it is not possible to amend the record to reflect what was intended to be said rather than what was actually said. However, we indicated that we would refer to the matter, which I have now done.
