Business of Committee

I remind members to switch off their mobile phones, iPads and anything else that is electronic. It is not good enough to set them to silent - they must be turned off because otherwise they will interfere with the broadcasting equipment and we will not be able to broadcast.

I seek clarification. We are now moving to a paperless environment in terms of our agenda. Will it be possible to use in committees iPads and iPhones that have the cellular component disabled and that utilise only Wi-Fi? It might not be a question the Chairman can answer today, but given that is the route all committees are going it might be helpful.

I thank the Deputy. I did not understand most of the terms he used so I will have to get back to him.

They are Clare terms.

I do not know too much about that area either and so I might have myself confused.

I will ask the officials to investigate and we will get back to the Deputy. It is a very good question and I do not know the answer.

It is Wi-Fi and not cellular.

I thank the Deputy for that.
