Facilitated by a Dáil motion, the Committee has examined RTÉ expenditure and commercial arrangements relating to the expenditure of public moneys and recommends that RTÉ be returned under the remit of the Comptroller and Auditor General.

Tax Appeals Commission and related matters

The Committee's report indicates a significant improvement in the operation of the commission since it appeared before the Committee in June 2018. The Committee advocates timely implementation of the recommendations of the O'Donoghue report published in 2018 and that measurable targets be set for the progression and finalisation of tax appeals.
