The draft minutes of the meeting of 6 April 2005 have been circulated. Are they agreed? Agreed. There are no matters arising.
We will now deal with correspondence. We have received an invitation to attend an OECD conference to be held in Paris on 2 and 3 May 2005. As the topic of the conference is more relevant to the Joint Committee on Environment and Local Government, I propose that we note it and forward the invitation to the committee secretariat.
I have received a letter from Deputy Ned O'Keeffe on Tralee Beef and Lamb. At our last meeting we agreed that some members of the joint committee would meet the banks to discuss the issues involved on behalf of the creditors and report back to the committee.
