JOINT COMMITTEE ON SOCIAL AND FAMILY AFFAIRS debate -
Thursday, 1 Nov 2007

Business of Joint Committee.

Joint committees meet on a fortnightly basis. The working group of committee Chairmen will allocate a particular time slot when each committee will meet. Members will be duly informed when the decision is taken. I suggest we request to meet at 10.30 a.m. on Wednesdays. Is that agreeable to members?

That time would cause a degree of difficulty as it is the time at which the Taoiseach answers questions in the Dáil. Is another time slot available?

What about Tuesdays?

I propose that we go into private session for the remainder of the meeting. Is that agreed? Agreed.

The joint committee went into private session at 10.40 a.m. and adjourned at 10.45 a.m. sine die.
