The House may recollect that last year, I think about the month of April, I was able to inform it that the President of the Executive Council, on the recommendation of myself and the Minister for Finance, had appointed Mr. Coffey for a year as Assistant Clerk of the House. Since then, on the recommendation of myself and the Minister for Finance, the President has appointed him to the permanent position of Assistant Clerk.
