I thought the Minister for Local Government adopted it in the Dáil, so as to enable it to be put through all its stages.
That is so, but I do not think the Minister expected it would be reached here this evening, otherwise he would be present to attend to it.
If it is necessary for a Senator to move, I accordingly move the Second Reading of the measure.
