It will be necessary, in accordance with sub-section (1) of Section 2 of the Seanad Bye-Elections Act, 1930, for an Order to be made directing the Clerk to inform the Minister for Local Government and Public Health of the vacancy in the Seanad caused by the death of Senator Kenny, in order to cause such vacancy to be filled.
