With regard to the motion on the Order Paper in my name, I spoke to the Minister concerned about this two or three months ago. He then expressed a desire to be present when the motion came on for discussion. I had a conversation with him this morning. He told me he would not be able to attend to-day, and asked if the House would defer its consideration for a week. He said that he would like to be present when the motion was being discussed. I ask the permission of the House to have consideration of the motion deferred until next week, and that it be so placed on the Order Paper that it will be taken early.
