I move:
That, notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in Standing Order 85 the Report Stage of the Land (Purchase Annuities Fund) Bill, 1933, be taken to-day.
The remarks I made when dealing with a previous Bill apply also to this Bill. If this Bill is not passed before the end of the month I understand that most of the councils will not be able to strike the rates. I think the Minister made a good case last week for urgency and I hope the Seanad will allow the Bill to pass now.
