There does not seem to be any anxiety to carry on the discussion on this matter any further. The House, I think, has assented by the way in which the Committee Stage and the Second Reading were passed and if the Seanad does not mind, I would be very glad if they agreed to pass the Bill finally.
The President has informed me that it will not be possible for Mr. Lemass to be here to-day to deal with item No. 7 on the Paper and, consequently, that will have to be adjourned. That concludes the business before the House. There is the probability of the House meeting in the first week in May.
