A matter of different import now arises. The Commissioners of Public Works desire to borrow the carpets in the Seanad anteroom and in the Clerk's room in connection with a State reception on Wednesday, 26th inst., in Dublin Castle, to the British Medical Association. The Seanad will almost certainly be meeting on that day and, to convenience the Government as far as possible, I should like the House to agree that we should adjourn not later than 6 p.m. on that date.
