Vol. 16 No. 30

Order of Business.

Cathaoirleach

As regards the first item of Public Business (No. 2 on to-day's Order Paper) the President, who is in charge of this Bill, cannot be here to take the Bill now and it will suit him if the Bill is taken as the first item of Public Business on Tuesday next. In the circumstances, I propose to ask the House to discharge the order made yesterday with reference to the Local Government (Extension of Franchise) Bill and to make a fresh order for this Bill to be taken as the first item of Public Business on Wednesday next. If this is agreed to, the Constitution (Amendment No. 19) Bill will be first on Tuesday and the Local Government (Extension of Franchise) Bill will be first on Wednesday.

Ordered accordingly.
