I have to inform the House that the Minister for External Affairs has informed me that the text of the Resolution passed by Seanad Eireann on the occasion of the death of the King of the Belgians was communicated by his Department to the Belgian Government. The Minister has now been requested by the Belgian Consul-General to inform the Seanad that his Government were deeply moved by the terms of the Resolution and have asked him to convey to the members of the House their profound gratitude for the kind expression of sympathy.
