The following Message has been received from the Dáil:
"Dáil Eireann has made an Order discharging the Order for the Second Stage of the Slaughter of Animals Bill, 1933, which was received from Seanad Eireann on the 23rd February, 1934."
The Bill referred to was initiated in the Seanad and sent to the Dáil on the 23rd February, 1934. The Government did not accept the Bill as a Government measure, but introduced in the Dáil a Bill dealing with the same subject, the title of which is the Slaughter of Animals Bill, 1935. This latter Bill has now been received from the Dáil and appears on the Order Paper for its Second Stage to-day.
