The Sixth Report of the Committee of Selection reads as follows:—
"The Committee has appointed Senator Hawkins on the Committee on Procedure and Privileges and Senator Magennis on the Joint Library Committee in substitution for Senator Peadar Mac Fhionnlaoich (Cú Uladh) deceased."
